Bring Your Own API Keys

The Workspace uses Google Gemini models for all LLM and embedding tasks — routed through the provider you choose. Connect your own key in Organisation Settings and your provider bills you directly, with zero markup from Probuck and full spending control.

Gemini API — Free

The quickest way to get started — just paste an API key from Google AI Studio. No GCP project or credit card required. Ideal for testing and evaluation. Note: data may be used by Google to improve their models and is retained for up to 30 days.

Gemini API — Paid

Same simple API key setup with a credit card on your Google account. Unlocks higher rate limits, pay-per-token billing, and — importantly — your data is not used for model training and is not retained beyond the API request. Recommended for production use without the overhead of a full GCP project.

Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform

Enterprise-grade option (formerly Vertex AI) via a GCP service account. Offers SLA-backed uptime, higher rate limits, full model catalogue access, and native usage tracking through GCP billing. Recommended for organisations with compliance requirements.

OpenRouter

A single OpenRouter key routes the same Google Gemini models — chat, vision and embeddings — through your OpenRouter account. Pay-as-you-go via prepaid credits, unified billing and per-request analytics in the OpenRouter dashboard, and no GCP setup. Data is not used for model training.

Optional keys for Perplexity (internet search) and Firecrawl (URL reading) can also be added for enhanced chatbot capabilities.
